Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains how payments for purchases made through qivarel.com are accepted, authorized, processed, protected, and refunded. It also describes the transaction currency used by our store, the role of third-party payment providers, and what customers should do if a payment cannot be completed successfully.

1. Transaction Currency and Amount Charged

Unless another currency is expressly displayed during checkout, all product prices, order totals, and transactions processed through qivarel.com are denominated in EUR (Euro). EUR is the store's transaction currency for purchases made through the website.

If the card, bank account, PayPal account, or other payment account used by the customer is denominated in another currency, the relevant bank, card issuer, PayPal, or payment provider may convert the transaction into that account's currency.

Any foreign exchange rate, currency conversion adjustment, international transaction fee, or other provider-imposed charge is determined independently by the customer's financial institution or payment provider and is not controlled by QIVAREL, LLC.

2. Payment Methods Available at Checkout

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Discover, Maestro, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The exact methods displayed to an individual customer may vary according to location, device, browser, card issuer, bank, payment-provider availability, or technical eligibility.

Card transactions and supported digital-wallet transactions may be processed through Stripe or Stripe-supported payment infrastructure. Transactions made using PayPal are processed through PayPal.

An order cannot proceed to normal fulfillment until the applicable payment has been successfully authorized. The presence of a payment option on one visit does not guarantee that the same option will be available for every customer, country, device, or transaction.

3. How Third-Party Payment Processing Works

QIVAREL, LLC uses established third-party payment providers, including Stripe and PayPal, to process transactions securely. When a customer selects a payment method, the information required to authorize that transaction is transmitted to the relevant provider through the applicable payment environment.

The payment provider may perform authorization checks, authentication, fraud screening, card verification, account verification, or other procedures before approving or declining the transaction.

We may receive limited transaction information necessary to operate the order, including the payment status, transaction identifier, payment method category, payment amount, currency, authorization result, and refund status.

These records may be retained where necessary for order management, accounting, customer support, fraud prevention, payment reconciliation, refunds, and dispute handling.

4. Handling of Sensitive Payment Credentials

QIVAREL, LLC does not store customers' complete card numbers, CVV or CVC security codes, PayPal passwords, online banking passwords, or other complete sensitive payment credentials on our own servers.

Complete payment credentials are handled through the systems of Stripe, PayPal, or the applicable payment provider. This approach reduces the amount of sensitive payment information directly handled within our WordPress and WooCommerce environment.

We may retain limited non-sensitive payment records associated with an order, but those records do not provide us with the information necessary to reconstruct a customer's complete card or payment credentials.

5. Security Measures Used During Checkout

qivarel.com uses HTTPS and SSL/TLS encryption to help protect information transmitted between a customer's browser and our website. Payment information is then handled through the secure infrastructure of the applicable third-party payment processor.

Depending on the selected payment method and provider, transaction security may also involve tokenization, PCI-DSS-aligned payment processing, automated fraud monitoring, transaction risk controls, card authentication, 3-D Secure, or Strong Customer Authentication where applicable.

We also use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards such as restricted access to website administration, account authentication, software maintenance, security monitoring, and access controls intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized access to transaction-related information.

No electronic system can provide an absolute guarantee against every form of security risk. However, we seek to use payment providers and website safeguards appropriate for normal e-commerce transactions.

6. Authorization Failures and Declined Transactions

A payment may be declined, delayed, or remain pending for reasons including insufficient funds, incorrect card or billing information, an expired payment method, account restrictions, authentication failure, fraud-prevention controls, provider rules, bank restrictions, or temporary technical problems.

If a transaction is unsuccessful, customers should first confirm that the submitted payment and billing information is correct. Where necessary, the customer may need to contact the relevant bank, card issuer, PayPal, or other payment provider.

Orders are generally not prepared for normal fulfillment until successful payment authorization has been received. Repeated authorization attempts may also be subject to security or fraud-prevention controls.

7. Incorrect Charges and Payment Disputes

If you believe that a transaction has been duplicated, charged incorrectly, processed for an unexpected amount, or otherwise contains an error, please contact us at [email protected] so that we can review the order and payment records.

Where reasonably possible, we encourage customers to contact us before initiating a chargeback or formal payment dispute. This gives us the opportunity to review payment records, order details, shipment information, refund history, and communications and to attempt to resolve the matter directly.

If a formal dispute or chargeback is initiated, we may provide relevant transaction, order, shipping, delivery, return, refund, and communication records to Stripe, PayPal, the applicable bank, card issuer, or another authorized payment participant where necessary to respond to the matter.

8. Refunds and the Original Payment Method

Where a refund is approved under our Return & Refund Policy, the approved amount will be submitted to the original payment method within 7 business days after the refund has been reviewed and approved.

Card transactions and eligible Apple Pay or Google Pay transactions will generally be returned through the payment channel associated with the original transaction. PayPal refunds will normally be processed back through PayPal.

After we submit an approved refund, additional time may be required by the customer's bank, card issuer, Stripe, PayPal, or another payment provider before the amount appears in the customer's account.

Any difference resulting from foreign exchange rates, exchange-rate movements, conversion charges, or fees imposed independently by the customer's financial institution or payment provider is outside our direct control and may not be refundable by QIVAREL, LLC.

For complete information concerning return eligibility, return procedures, product-condition requirements, and refund approval, please review our Return & Refund Policy.
